2024 / walnut / maple / tung oil / beeswax
this coffee table is filled with juxtaposition. the walnut table top and stretchers are thin with rounded edges and round through-tenons through the legs. in contrast, the maple legs are thick and angular, with a reversed double taper and a geometric design between the legs on either end.
this table won the second place prize in its category at the 2025 AWFS Fresh Wood competition.
